From every nation. To every nation.

Equipping the global church to send indigenous messengers to the three billion people who have never heard the name of Jesus.

A Word at the Beginning

There is a window in the world, drawn between two latitude lines. Inside it lives the largest concentration of people who have never heard the gospel.

This window is not a metaphor. It is a region: sixty-six nations stretching across North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and into the Far East. It is home to more than three billion people who live without access to the message that has changed the rest of the world.

Reaching them is the most consequential work the church has left to do in our generation. We exist to help that work happen, not by sending Western missionaries alone, but by raising up indigenous messengers from inside the window itself.

The Mission Field

A region the church has not yet finished.

From Casablanca to Shanghai, the 10/40 Window is the most resistant, the most populous, and the most spiritually unreached part of the world.

The Great Commission belongs to the entire global church. Not the Western church. Not a single nation. Every church. Every people. To every nation.

Our Work

We do two things well.

We do not commission missionaries ourselves. We equip the churches that do, then walk with them as they send.

Theological training in the 10/40 Window
i.

Developing national cooperation.

We assist churches to partner for ministry together, train leaders and aspiring leaders, and appoint, commission, send, and support missionary teams.

ii.

Facilitating global partnership.

We assist agencies through an agency leadership network and international church partnerships.

Strategy

Six phases in one missionary task.

Every team we walk alongside follows the same arc, from the first day of language study to the day a new church stands on its own and begins to send.

i. Entry

Language and culture. The slow, costly work of becoming present among a people, learning to speak the way they speak and live the way they live.

ii. Evangelism

Faithful proclamation. Telling, in the cultural texture of the place, the story of the gospel as it has always been told.

iii. Discipleship

Building up new believers through the Word, equipping them to teach the Word to others.

iv. Church Formation

Establishing local congregations that gather to worship, share fellowship, and observe the ordinances.

v. Leadership Development

Training indigenous pastors and elders who meet biblical qualifications to shepherd what is becoming a self-governing church.

vi. Partnership Development

Connecting the new church to the global body so that, in time, it begins to send its own missionaries to the next unreached people.

Approach One

Indigenous church planting.

Local believers planting churches within their own people groups. They speak the language already, understand the culture already, carry no foreign passport, and build trust we never could.

Approach Two

Near-culture church planting.

Believers from neighboring cultures pioneering work among unreached people groups close to home, carrying the work until indigenous leaders rise from within.

The Math of It
1 = 10

The cost of supporting one foreign missionary can equip ten indigenous missionaries already living inside the window. Same dollars. Ten times the reach.

Who We Are

A young society. An old conviction.

The 10/40 Window Missionary Society was established on the first day of 2025, born out of a 2024 gathering of leaders from South Asia, Central Asia, and North America who shared a single concern: the global church is ready, but it is not yet organized for the work that remains.

We carry forward the conviction that shaped William Carey and his teammates at the Serampore Covenant of 1805, that indigenous believers are essential to spreading the gospel across the nations. Our convictions on the church and the gospel are rooted in the New Hampshire Confession of Faith.

We are not a sending agency. We are a society of churches, in service to churches, sending churches together.

From every nation. To every nation.
